Terms of Service
Terms for MapleSprite accounts, subscriptions, credits, AI outputs, billing, cancellation, and refunds.
Last updated: 2026-06-28
Legal Notice
These Terms are prepared for a Waffo Pancake merchant account review and must be completed with the merchant's legal name, registered address, support contacts, governing law, and final refund thresholds before launch. They do not constitute legal advice.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to MapleSprite, an AI-assisted software service for guarded sprite asset production. These Terms govern access to and use of MapleSprite and any related websites, dashboards, APIs, billing pages, and generated outputs.
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, buying credits, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Have read and agree to these Terms.
- Agree to the Privacy Policy.
- Are authorized to bind yourself or the organization you represent.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Merchant and Service Details
The service is operated by [legal entity or individual merchant name], located at [registered or business address]. The product name is MapleSprite.
MapleSprite helps users prepare, generate, and manage pixel-art or sprite-related digital assets. The service is delivered online as a digital SaaS product. Access starts after successful payment or account activation.
MapleSprite may use third-party AI model or workflow providers to process prompts, reference images, masks, and generation settings. Output quality and availability can depend on those providers.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account and billing information. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
Notify us immediately at [security contact email] if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share credentials, resell access, or use another person's account without permission.
4. Plans, Credits, and Purchases
MapleSprite may offer monthly subscriptions and one-time credit packages. Current prices, included credits, and credit validity are shown at checkout or on the pricing page.
Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. One-time credit packages are single purchases and do not renew unless the checkout page explicitly says otherwise.
Credits are a usage unit for MapleSprite features. One generation or workflow step may consume a fixed number of credits. Credit balance, validity, and product-specific limits are shown in the dashboard or checkout flow.
5. Billing and Payment Authorization
Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake. Payment card data is handled by Waffo Pancake or its payment infrastructure and is not stored on MapleSprite servers.
By submitting a payment method, you authorize the merchant to charge the displayed amount, applicable taxes, and any recurring subscription fees. For subscriptions, this authorization continues until cancellation.
Prices may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. If required by law, taxes such as VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar charges may be collected at checkout.
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a subscription at any time by using the online billing or account settings flow when available, or by contacting [cancel contact email] from the account email address.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless stated otherwise, subscription access remains active until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund past charges or separately purchased credits.
If MapleSprite offers auto-recharge or saved payment methods, you may disable those settings in the account dashboard or by contacting support.
7. Refund Policy
MapleSprite is a digital service delivered immediately after payment. Fees are generally non-refundable except in the cases below:
- First subscription purchase: A full refund may be requested within 7 days of the first charge if usage has not exceeded
[usage threshold]of the plan allowance. - Unused credit or one-time purchases: A full refund may be requested within 7 days if the purchased credits have not been used.
- Duplicate charge or billing error: Verified duplicate or incorrect charges will be refunded.
- Verified service outage: If an outage caused by MapleSprite lasts more than 72 hours, we may provide a proportional refund or service extension.
- Statutory rights: Any mandatory cancellation or refund rights under applicable law remain available.
Refund requests must be sent to [refund contact email] with the account email, transaction ID, and reason. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days after approval.
Refunds are not available for used credits, completed digital work, expired promotional credits, accounts terminated for abuse, or prior subscription periods outside the refund window unless required by law.
8. Billing Disputes
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact [billing contact email] before filing a bank dispute or chargeback. We aim to acknowledge billing questions within 2 business days and resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.
9. AI Outputs and Intellectual Property
Subject to these Terms, you own the outputs generated from your inputs. You may use outputs for lawful personal or commercial purposes, subject to any third-party rights, model-provider restrictions, and the Acceptable Use rules below.
You retain rights to the prompts, images, masks, and other content you upload. You grant MapleSprite a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content only to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.
We do not use your private inputs or outputs to train AI models unless you give explicit permission or the content is submitted through a feature that clearly says it is public or shared.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, infringing, or unsuitable for a specific use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or publishing them.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use MapleSprite to:
- Violate laws, regulations, card-network rules, or third-party rights.
- Generate illegal, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or fraudulent content.
- Create sexual content involving minors or content that violates child-protection laws.
- Create malware, phishing material, credential theft flows, or attack tooling.
- Create or distribute deceptive deepfakes or impersonations without proper consent and disclosure.

- Bypass rate limits, payment controls, security controls, or access restrictions.
- Systematically scrape, extract, benchmark, distill, or use service outputs to train competing AI or machine-learning systems.
- Resell or sublicense access without prior written permission.
11. Data, Privacy, and Security
Use of the service is governed by the Privacy Policy. Payment card data is processed by Waffo Pancake and is not stored on MapleSprite servers.
Account data may be retained for [retention period] after cancellation or termination, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer retention period is required for tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or AI output accuracy.
AI-generated content can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for professional decisions. Do not treat outputs as legal, medical, financial, safety, or other regulated professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the merchant is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, abuse the service, initiate fraudulent payments, or violate acceptable use rules.
You may close your account by using account settings or contacting [support contact email]. Some records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of [country, state, or region]. Before starting a formal dispute, contact [legal contact email] so both parties can try to resolve the issue informally.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect when practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
